About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect / Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to design and support secure, scalable, and reliable cloud and hybrid-cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have strong cloud architecture, infrastructure, networking, automation, and security experience, along with practical knowledge of AI technologies and enterprise database platforms.
Key Responsibilities: Design and implement secure, scalable OCI cloud architectures, standards, and governance models. Translate business and technical requirements into multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud solutions. Support cloud infrastructure configuration, patching, networking, backups, monitoring, and alerts. Design and support cloud networking, high availability, disaster recovery, and migration initiatives. Implement Infrastructure as Code and automation using Terraform, Ansible, and API/CLI tools. Apply Cloud DevOps, monitoring, observability, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices. Support cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization initiatives. Work with Oracle database technologies, including RAC, ASM, Data Guard, GoldenGate, RMAN, and related Oracle platforms. Evaluate and apply AI technologies available on cloud platforms and on-premises infrastructure. Contribute to architecture documentation, technical standards, and platform planning.
Required Qualifications: 6+ years of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) experience. 4–6 years of hybrid infrastructure experience. 4–6 years of cloud networking experience. 4–6 years of Cloud DevOps and automation experience. 2–3 years of cloud security experience. 1–2 years of practical AI technology experience. Strong understanding of cloud architecture, governance, and enterprise infrastructure. Experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform and Ansible. Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, cloud migration, monitoring, and observability. Ability to design secure multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud solutions. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and technical communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Current: OCI Architect Professional or Architect Associate certification. Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, GoldenGate, RMAN, Exadata, ExaCC, ExaDB-D, Exascale, DBaaS, or OEM. Knowledge of Cloud FinOps and cloud cost optimization. Experience with architecture documentation tools such as Visio or Abacus. Linux or network administration experience.
Important: Deep OCI proficiency is mandatory. Candidates must also be available for the required hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
