Environment, Health and Safety Manager

Location: Arkansas City, KS (Onsite)

Duration: Full-Time (Direct Hire)

Job Description: This is a leadership role for someone who takes ownership of workplace safety and knows how to build a culture around it — not just enforce a checklist.

What You'll Do: Build and manage EHS programs that keep the company compliant with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other regulations Lead audits and inspections, then turn findings into real improvements Own incident investigations from root cause to corrective action Train employees and leadership on safety best practices Track EHS metrics to guide smarter safety decisions Keep emergency response plans current and tested Mentor site-level safety staff or coordinators

What You Bring: Bachelor's degree (Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related — Master's a plus)8+ years of EHS experience, including 3+ years leading a team or program Solid grasp of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and ISO 14001/45001 standards Manufacturing background in food & beverageEHS certification (CSP, CIH, CHMM preferred)
