Tax Manager / Principal / Director

Responsibilities: Tax Services – Prepare & review corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns. Accounting Services – Lead engagements throughout all phases of accounting including tax research & planning and preparation of reports and financial statements. Resolve Tax Matters – Research and resolve federal and state tax issues. Client Services - Build trusted client relationships and work collaboratively with staff and clients.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting 5+ years of experience in accounting operations and principles Technical tax knowledge of tax controversy issues Detail-oriented with excellent organization, time-management, verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with CCH Axcess and QuickBooks software Trust, estate, and gift tax returns and planning experience is a plus Relevant tax preparation certification or licensing a plus (CPA license preferred) Competitive salary of $150,000-$250,000/year, commensurate with experience Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and retirement plan A better work/life balance with generous holidays, PTO and vacation time and a flexible schedule Significant opportunity for professional advancement and leadership Professional and collaborative office environment Visit us online at https://slissnercpa.com.
