Compensation: Base Salary ($45k - $65k) + Unlimited Commission + Team & Individual Bonuses Time Off: Paid holidays and minimum 10 days of paid time off (PTO).

Role Description: The Sales Business Development Manager role is a full-time position responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the client base for Surface Experts in San Diego North County. On a day-to-day basis, this role involves identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with property management companies and other commercial clients, and presenting service offerings in a clear, solutions-focused manner. The individual in this role will conduct drop in visits, schedule and follow up on sales presentations, and manage a pipeline of prospects using CRM tools. They will collaborate closely with operations to ensure smooth onboarding of new customers and consistent service delivery. Regular tasks include educating our customers on the services we provide, keeping top-of-mind through regular in-person visits, preparing estimates for repairs, tracking sales metrics, and providing feedback on market trends and customer needs to inform business strategy.

Ideal Skills and Experience: While not required, prior sales and business development experience would be helpful, including established skills in prospecting, lead qualification, and closing new accounts. Experience building and maintaining client relationships, ideally with property managers, facilities and maintenance managers, hospitality, commercial, or real estate partners. Proficiency with CRM software and basic office tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations) to manage pipelines and report on results. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with clear written and verbal skills. Self-directed work style with strong time management, organization, and the ability to thrive in a remote, performance-driven environment. Relevant education or equivalent experience in sales, marketing, business, or a related field. Valid driver’s license and ability to regularly visit client sites in the San Diego North County area, with occasional travel to our central San Diego office
