About the role

FL-DCF-Orlando-ESS-Receptionist
Location: Orlando, FL 32808
Pay Rate: $15.00/hr Contract
Benefits: 401(k), 401(k) matching
Duties/Responsibilities include:
  • Meets/greets customers and assists customers with the application process (on-line and paper) and navigating through the self-service lobby.
  • Ensures lobby equipment (example: copier, phone, and fax) and forms are operationally available to customers throughout the day.
  • Answers general inquiry questions related to program requirements, application processing, case status, and benefit information.
  • Logs customer into computer based system for data collection and customer service resolution; follows established procedures to escalate complex customer inquiries to ensure resolution.
  • Educates customers on community partners and the benefits /features of my ACCESS Account including account set-up, password resets.
  • Minimum Skill Requirement:
  • Ability to speak and understand English and a High School diploma are required. Another requirement is the ability to stand for periods of time (amount varies), physical movement and consistently walking within the workspace for the various job duties.
  • Bi-lingual Spanish or Creole, both spoken and written are highly desired. The Ability to type 20 words per minute is nice to have.
Required Skills:
  • Ability to speak and understand English
  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to stand for periods of time, engage in physical movement, and walk consistently within the workspace
  • Professional office customer service experience (1 year)
  • Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions
  • Typing skills with correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar
Highly Desired Skills: Bi-lingual in Spanish or Creole (spoken and written) Ability to operate general office equipment
Compensation: $15.00 per hour
