Regional CDL-A Truck Driver – Freight

Premier Transportation is seeking a reliable Regional Freight CDL-A Driver to safely haul freight across assigned regional routes. In this Transportation & Logistics role, you’ll operate late-model equipment, ensure on-time deliveries, and provide courteous service to customers. Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, accurate logkeeping, and compliance with DOT and company safety standards. Safely operate CDL-A tractor-trailer on regional freight routes Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections Ensure on-time pickup and delivery of freight Secure and handle freight according to safety standards Maintain accurate ELD logs and required documentation Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members Report equipment issues and coordinate basic maintenance Follow assigned routes while adapting to traffic and weather conditions Represent Premier Transportation with courteous, reliable service CDL-A tractor-trailer operation Defensive driving Route planning and navigation Electronic Logging Device (ELD) use Vehicle inspection and basic maintenance Freight securement and loading Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations Time management and scheduling Customer service and communication Recordkeeping and documentation Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A CDL Clean driving record (MVR) DOT Medical Card Knowledge of FMCSA/DOT regulations HAZMAT endorsement (preferred) Tanker endorsement (preferred) TWIC card (preferred)
