About the role

JIRA Admin Job Description Work From Office (WFO): Required, potentially 3 days a week at the Quincy office.
Key Responsibilities: The candidate must have successfully completed the following tasks during their professional experience:
  • Written and deployed ScriptRunner scripts
  • Written Automation for JIRA rules
  • Held Site Admin rights or higher for an organization
  • Successfully configured and enabled at least 5 different plug-ins in JIRA CloudAdept at using MS Teams for meetings
  • Non-technical Requirements:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (US English):Excellent Customer Service Skills & Stakeholder awareness:
  • Presentation skills: Able to deliver JIRA related training where necessary.
Desired Experience: Completed a JIRA migration: Experience in migrating JIRA from DC (Data Center), on-premises, or server to the cloud environment. Confluence Admin experience: Hands-on experience in managing Confluence, including configuration, user management, and maintenance. Set up an authentication service on Azure AD, AWS, or some other Active Directory: Knowledge of integrating JIRA with identity management platforms like Azure Active Directory or AWS IAM for authentication. Successfully added external users (outside the organizationDomain): Ability to manage external user access to JIRA while ensuring security compliance.
