Early Childhood Teacher – Childcare Center

KinderCare is hiring Teachers for our Fishers Roberts Drive center to create nurturing, engaging classrooms for young children. In this role, you’ll plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum, support social-emotional and cognitive development, and maintain a safe, inclusive environment. You’ll build strong relationships with families, observe and document developmental progress, and collaborate with teammates. Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities for early learners Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Observe, assess, and document children’s progress Communicate regularly with families about child development and classroom activities Implement center policies, health, and safety procedures Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum and classroom management Participate in professional development and training sessions Prepare learning materials and maintain organized classroom spaces Support behavior guidance using positive, developmentally appropriate strategies Early childhood curriculum planning Classroom management Child development knowledge Lesson planning and documentation Parent and family communication Health, safety, and sanitation practices Behavior guidance and support Observation and assessment of children Collaboration and teamwork Basic computer and record-keeping skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k State-required childcare or early childhood education credential (where applicable) CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain Background check clearance as required by state regulations Previous experience in a licensed childcare or early learning setting preferred
