What You'll Do:
As a Business Development Manager at Lumen Resources, you’ll be responsible for building relationships with hiring leaders and generating new business opportunities. This role is perfect for someone who understands the staffing/recruiting industry, is energized by outreach, and thrives in a fast-paced, people-centric environment. Proactively identify and engage prospective clients via cold calling, email, Linked In, and networking Drive qualified leads and set up discovery calls for the Managing Partner or Client Solutions team Use your recruiting/staffing industry knowledge to uncover client pain points and talent gaps Maintain a healthy pipeline of new business prospects and opportunities using CRM tools Collaborate with recruiters and account managers to ensure aligned, consultative solutions Attend relevant virtual events and represent Lumen Resources with professionalism and purpose Keep a pulse on market and hiring trends to add value to client conversations Qualifications 3+ years of experience in a sales capacity for a staffing or recruiting firm is a MUSTA strong understanding of how staffing firms operate, from candidate placement to client management Experience prospecting into HR, Talent Acquisition, and Hiring Managers Strong communication skills — written, verbal, and interpersonal Confidence in cold outreach and handling objections professionally Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Bullhorn, Salesforce)A growth mindset and a genuine passion for helping companies hire the right people
