Description:
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a Home Health pediatric position focusing on high-risk infants, open to first-time travelers. Details Home health setting covering the Richardson, TX territory Pediatric OT caseload focused on high-risk infants Average of 6-7 patients per day with about 20 visits per week Day shift schedule, 2x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PMNo weekend requirement No on-call requirement Charting completed in Statewise EMRMileage reimbursed for travel between visits
Requirements:
- Current OT license required if applicable
- Certifications relevant to license required
- Pending license not accepted
Additional Information:
- Perform comprehensive OT evaluations using standardized tests to determine patient needs
- Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders
- Create home exercise programs in partnership with caregivers
- Collaborate and coordinate care with other providers and disciplines
- Complete required weekly patient visit minimums
- Maintain timely documentation including chart updates, progress summaries, and call logs
- Adhere to agency policies and all applicable laws and regulations for pediatric home health OTDress code includes scrubs, t-shirt/jeans/pants, and closed-toe shoes
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
