We are hiring a Journeyman Electrician for a client in Lithia Springs, GA. This role leads helpers on commercial job sites, handling everything from blueprint layout to panel terminations and troubleshooting. Ideal candidates are experienced, safety-focused, and comfortable directing a crew.
Responsibilities:- Lead and direct helpers/apprentices on job sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, one-line diagrams, and panel schedules
- Install electrical devices and fixtures
- Bend and install EMT and rigid conduit
- Perform panel and transformer terminations
- Install and terminate disconnects and switchgear
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment
- Install and support low voltage systems
- Ensure work complies with NEC and local electrical codes
Must Haves:- 3+ years of journeyman-level electrical experience
- Ability to read blueprints, one-line diagrams, and panel schedules
- Experience bending EMT/rigid conduit
- Experience with panel and transformer terminations
- Experience troubleshooting electrical systems
- Ability to lead and direct helpers
- Own hand tools
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
Preferred Skills:- Experience with switchgear and disconnects
- Low voltage system experienceOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Experience on large-scale commercial/industrial, data center, and mission critical projects
