Set Up Technician - 1st & 2nd shift

Duties And Responsibilities: Follow the written methods and sequence of operations in performing various machine operation, auxiliary equipment or assembly tasks. Work on assignments that are routine to semi-routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required Receive general instructions on routine work and detailed instruction on new assignments. All changes or departures from instructions require approval from Supervisor or Production Manager. Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of non-conformities relating to product and process; to identify and record any problems relating to the product and process; and to initiate, recommend or provide solution through designated channels. Trouble shoots problem jobs. Maintain all set up tools and supplies. Assists in training production support people. Understands and follows the Mold Tag System. Dispose purge in appropriate/designated containers. May operate auxiliary equipment or do assembler at the press Must comply with the Operators Quality Standard sheet or quality guidelines from floor inspectors for specific jobs. Will adhere to all guidelines pertaining to the TASUS Quality and Environmental Management Systems.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Strong mechanical and aptitude skills

Working Conditions: Manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, use of hands, climb, bend, crawl, etc. Frequently lift/move up to 25lbs, and occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs.
