About the role

Overview In this role you will lead the strategy and governance for GIS learning and development, partnering with the Academy and GIS leaders to translate business priorities into scalable training and capability-building programs. You will drive workforce readiness across cybersecurity, technology, and leadership, ensuring regulatory and enterprise training requirements are met. You will measure impact through learning outcomes and executive insights, fostering a culture of continuous learning. Compensation / Benefitsbenefits eligiblediscretionary incentive planpaid time offflexible benefitscompetitive compensationin-office culture with collaboration Responsibilities Lead the GIS Learning & Development strategy aligned to business priorities, workforce plans, and future skill needs Establish governance, metrics, reporting, and oversight for learning performance, certifications, and compliance Ensure adherence to mandatory, regulatory, and enterprise-required training programs Partner with GIS leaders, the Academy, and enterprise stakeholders to define learning priorities and capability-building strategies Drive workforce development across cybersecurity, technology, leadership, and professional skills Oversee learning roadmaps, onboarding, career development, and succession planning programs Manage end-to-end delivery of learning initiatives, from needs assessment through implementation and measurement Analyze workforce capabilities and learning outcomes to identify skill gaps and improve organizational readiness Manage relationships with learning partners, vendors, and educational institutions Provide executive reporting and insights while fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing Key requirements Experience in a matrixed, fast-paced enterprise with shifting priorities and ambiguity Knowledge of talent development, leadership development, workforce planning, and enterprise capability-building practices Experience supporting cybersecurity, technology, risk, or operational functions Ability to align L&D strategies with business objectives and operating models Proven ability to develop strategy and execute from concept to delivery Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and collaboration skills Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and active listening skills for diverse audiences Knowledge of LMS, workforce capability assessments, and training analytics Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word) for data analysis and executive presentations Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Self-motivated, results-oriented, able to work independently Problem-solving, critical thinking, and escalation management Adaptability and resilience in changing environments Coaching and development ability in a customer-centric setting Experience diagnosing skill gaps and implementing development and performance improvement plans Understanding of risk identification and reinforcement of a strong risk culture Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across stakeholders Intellectual curiosity and commitment to continuous learning Stakeholder management Facilitation CollaborationLMS knowledge Training analytics Data analysis and metrics reporting
