About the role
Assistant Speech Coach Qualifications/Experience: Preferred speech experience. Successful background check required. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed: Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion, respect, responsibility, self discipline and honesty.
Specific Tasks:
The Assistant Speech Coach should work with the head coach to encourage athletes, develop skills consistent with the program, perform public relations duties necessary to promote speech within the community, submit all reports and information requested by the head coach or activities director, be in control of student conduct while under his/her charge, and perform all other duties as assigned by the head coach. Hours Per Day: Hours vary per day during season. The season runs from November through the State Tournament. As per contract, schedule B.
