New York, New York - 2026-07-10 We are seeking a Senior NetApp Storage Engineer with deep expertise in NetApp ONTAP, core NetApp technologies, and enterprise storage infrastructure. This role requires a highly experienced, proactive, and consultative professional who can lead complex storage initiatives, support hardware break/fix activities, and provide technical leadership for strategic storage projects.The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted storage subject matter expert (SME), bringing both hands-on technical expertise and the ability to advise stakeholders on best practices, architecture, and future-state storage solutions.This position is primarily remote; however, candidates must reside within the New York City metropolitan area and be available to go onsite as needed (possibly 2 to 3 times per week).AS A NETAPP ENGINEER, YOU CAN EXPECT TO HAVE THESE RESPONSIBILITIES:Serve as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for NetApp ONTAP and core NetApp storage technologiesLead and execute hardware break/fix, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities across NetApp storage environmentsProvide technical consultation, recommendations, and leadership for special storage-related projectsManage and support NetApp FAS and AFF platforms in enterprise environmentsPerform storage performance analysis, optimization, capacity planning, and health assessmentsTroubleshoot complex storage, SAN/NAS, and infrastructure issuesCollaborate with infrastructure, engineering, and application teams to ensure system reliability, scalability, and data integrityDrive proactive improvements and recommend best practices for storage administration and operationsSupport data protection, replication, disaster recovery, and storage automation initiativesTO BE SUCCESSFUL, YOU'LL NEED EXPERIENCE SUCH AS:Extensive hands-on experience administering and supporting NetApp ONTAP environmentsStrong expertise with NetApp Core Technologies, including: FAS platformsAFF platformsExperience with Kubernetes and containerized storage integrationsExperience with ASA Fibre Channel environmentsKnowledge of SAN and Fibre Channel architecturesDemonstrated experience performing hardware troubleshooting, maintenance, and break/fix activitiesStrong understanding of enterprise storage architecture, SAN/NAS technologies, and data managementExperience with performance tuning, storage optimization, and capacity managementExcellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsProven ability to work independently while providing proactive and consultative supportStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and business stakeholdersPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:NetApp certifications such as: NCDANCIEOther relevant NetApp certificationsADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT THIS ROLE:Location:New York, NY Onsite Requirements: Candidates must be local to the New York City/ Brooklyn, NY area and available for regular onsite work and critical support needs (2 to 3 times per week on average)Pay: up to $152,000View our benefits information here: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United StatesU.S. Citizenship requiredWE ARE TSPTSP is award-winning, customer-endorsed, and minority-owned.
