Description:
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a high-risk unit requiring NY licensure, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification. Details High-risk labor and delivery unit setting Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AMAlternating days of the week with possible weekend requirements based on unit staffing needs
Requirements:
Active NY State RN license requiredNRP certification requiredAWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required (Advanced EFM not accepted)NCC C-EFM certification required within one year of first assignment with Northwell 3+ years of current labor & delivery experience required 2+ years of high-risk OB experience required, or OR circulating, C-sections, and PACU/recovery room experienceOB triage experience preferred Two professional references from previous managers in current discipline/specialty required
Additional Information:
- Provide direct patient care in a high-risk labor and delivery setting
- Local candidates within 60 miles accepted at a reduced rate
- First-time travelers may be considered depending on experience qualifications
- Prior Northwell/Nuvance Health employees subject to an eligibility review process before being considered for return
