Oral Surgeon

Minimum Qualifications: Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree Minimum of three (3) years of recent experience in the past five (5) years Experience working with community programs Desire to work with infants, children, adolescents, adults, and their families

Responsibilities: Provides immediate evaluation and management of emergency problems to HICHC dental patients as they occur in addition to regularly scheduled appointments. Performs dental procedures compatible with the facility's operating capability, equipment and privileges granted. Performs preoperative and postoperative care Skills The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge in diagnosing and treating oral diseases, general and preventive dentistry, and implant dentistry. They are skilled in administering various types of sedation and performing oral surgeries for both adults and children. The role requires effective communication, a commitment to HICHC's mission of accessible, culturally sensitive care, and the ability to maintain records, follow instructions, motivate patients, and continuously learn and grow in the field.
