Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse

Wise Medical Staffing seeks an experienced Pediatric ICU RN to deliver high-acuity bedside care to critically ill children in a fast-paced hospital setting. In this role, you’ll perform comprehensive pediatric assessments, manage ventilators and complex infusions, administer medications, and respond to emergencies alongside an interdisciplinary team. You’ll support and educate families, maintain accurate EHR documentation, and uphold strict safety and infection-control standards. Provide direct critical care to pediatric ICU patients, including continuous assessment and monitoring. Administer IV medications, infusions, and blood products per PICU protocols. Operate and manage ventilators and other life-support equipment safely and accurately. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team on care plans and rapid response situations. Educate and support patients’ families on conditions, treatments, and discharge planning. Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EHR and follow all hospital and regulatory policies. Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and quality standards in a high-acuity setting. Adapt quickly to new hospital environments and workflows as a travel or contract RN.
