Via Transportation is hiring reliable East Bay Drivers to power our tech-enabled public mobility services. As a Via driver, you’ll operate comfortable vehicles to provide safe, shared rides across the East Bay, using our intuitive app to follow dynamic routes and pick up multiple passengers efficiently. You’ll represent Via on the front lines, delivering excellent customer service, assisting riders as needed, and ensuring on-time, courteous trips. Safely operate Via vehicles in the East Bay, following all traffic laws and company safety protocols. Use Via’s driver app to accept trips, follow dynamic routes, and manage pickups and drop-offs. Provide courteous, professional customer service and assist riders with boarding as needed. Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly. Communicate with dispatch and operations teams regarding delays, incidents, or route adjustments. Maintain accurate trip, incident, and mileage records as required. Follow ADA and accessibility guidelines when assisting riders with mobility needs. Keep vehicle clean, presentable, and compliant with Via and partner standards.
