Cyber Associate Review Manager 100% Remote Position Epiq is seeking review professionals with experience supporting document review teams and managing projects who want to take the next step in their careers. We are looking for eDiscovery or cyber team leads and emerging review managers who can organize workflows, guide reviewers, manage project quality, and communicate clearly with clients and other project stakeholders. You will help run cyber incident reviews using the same skills that make eDiscovery reviews successful: strong organization, thoughtful issue escalation, timely communication, and team support. This is a Limited Duration role supporting active projects and backlog reduction, with the potential to extend employment based on individual performance and business needs. Epiq’s Cyber Incident Response team manages document reviews that identify and capture personal information involved in cyber incidents. Associate Review Managers bring strong document review and project management skill to oversee multiple matters, coordinate with clients and partners, manage review teams, and keep deliverables on time and on budget. We are looking for a team lead or review professional who has already been trusted to guide reviewers and manage the day-to-day work of a document review. We are hiring for transferable leadership skills, and not necessarily prior data breach response experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead multiple active review matters from kickoff through delivery, keeping assignments, deadlines, and quality organized.
Serve as point of contact for clients during cyber incident response review projects.
Determine and manage client expectations regarding deliverables and timeframes.
Draft workflow protocols and substantive training guidelines in partnership with the client and counsel, including the review and data capture related to large documents unable to be captured within standard review tools.
Implement review workflows, including the creation of assignments, fields, choices, rules, and access security.
Leverage the appropriate technology to improve productivity and accuracy.
Execute quality control and quality assurance best practices, including the use of statistical sampling and keyword searches.
Communicate and document substantive issues to client and counsel through the creation and maintenance of a query log.
Monitor and report daily on overall progress, productivity, and accuracy of the project and individual team members, including performance to budget.
Lead and motivate review teams comprised of both attorneys and non-attorneys.
Train reviewers on the use of review platforms, including the identification and mentoring of team leaders.
Work with both US and Global review teams and clients.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of project or review management or team lead experience. A JD degree is not required.
- Experience with the administration of document review databases, including Relativity.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and the use of formulas, pivot tables, and basic formatting.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including experience with conference calls and meetings with colleagues and clients.
- Excellent issue spotting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with delivering difficult projects on time and within budget.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to go above and beyond client expectations.
- What we are offering:100% Remote Work$40/hour
- Bi-weekly Payroll (every other Friday); Direct Deposit; optional Medical Insurance; Health Savings Account (HSA); Wellness Program; Employee Assistance Program (EAP); 401K plan with company matching
