About the role

We are seeking a Cost Analyst to support a portfolio of transmission and substation capital projects. This role will work closely with project managers, project controls, engineering, and construction teams to develop, maintain, and track project budgets and cost performance throughout the project lifecycle.
Location: Remote
Responsibilities: Develop and maintain project budgets and cost forecasts for transmission and substation projects Support cost updates, budget tracking, and cost reporting activities Coordinate with project managers, engineering teams, contractors, and field personnel to collect and validate project cost information Assist with cost forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting Identify cost risks, budget variances, and potential impacts to project delivery Participate in project meetings and planning sessions Support project controls and reporting efforts across multiple active projects
Requirements: Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Accounting, Business, Project Management, or a related field 1+ years of cost analysis, project controls, project coordination, construction, engineering, utility, or related experience Familiarity with project budgets, cost forecasting, cost tracking, and project execution processes Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with cost management software, SAP, Oracle, Primavera P6, or similar project controls tools
