1st Shift Sand Foundry-Bench Operator

Sand Foundry Bench Operator Our customer in Montgomery, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. Were recruiting Sand Foundry Bench Operators to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Sand Foundry Bench Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining sand mixing equipment to produce quality molds in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. Responsibilities of the Sand Foundry Bench Operator: Operate sand mixing equipment under general supervision to prepare molds according to job specifications. Set up and assemble molds, selecting appropriate patterns and preparing riser sleeves and pouring cups. Compact sand in flasks using vibratory equipment and remove cured molds using hand tools or roll-over machinery. Apply coatings to mold halves, install cores, and assemble complete molds by hand or with manipulation tools. Monitor and replenish resin, catalyst, and sand supplies, and assist with mixer calibration as needed. Follow safety procedures rigorously, staying alert to surroundings and adhering to all company safety practices.
