City of Hope's growing national system includes its Los Angeles campus, a network of clinical care locations across Southern California, a new cancer center in Orange County, California, and cancer treatment centers and outpatient facilities in the Atlanta, Chicago and Phoenix areas. The successful candidate: *Shift: M-F 8:00AM-4:30PM* Contributes to the daily operations of Health Information Management to assure accessibility, accountability, and accuracy with responsibilities including Release of Information, Scanning/Outside Imaging, and Analysis of the medical record. Requires 2-3 years of professional experience with medical records and familiarity in working with diverse facets of Health Information Management. Familiar with federal and state laws and regulations concerning medical records, including HIPAA and TJC standards. Ability to work effectively with other departments, physicians, and all ancillary staff. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills to maintain the integrity of our medical record.
