Key Responsibilities as the Electrical Project Engineer: Lead electrical projects from feasibility and detail design through procurement, construction, startup and post-startup optimization Lead multi-million-dollar capital projects, including projects exceeding $4 million Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, contractors and consultants Provide technical leadership for 480V power distribution, MCCs, motors, VFDs, starters, grounding and field I/OEstablish electrical architecture, standards and best practices for industrial projects Direct designers, consultants and electrical contractors through project execution Perform and support EasyPower arc flash and coordination studies Travel approximately 30% to manufacturing facilities. Minimum requirements for this Electrical Project Engineer position: BS in Electrical Engineering required Minimum of 7 years of progressive industrial capital project engineering experience Proven experience leading multi-million-dollar projects from concept through completion Strong experience with 480V electrical distribution, MCCs, VFDs and industrial power systems Experience with EasyPower, arc flash and coordination studies Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 and NFPA 70EExperience with MS Project, AutoCAD and advanced project management systems Wood products or heavy industrial manufacturing experience preferred Allen-Bradley Control Logix experience a plus.
