Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations to create individualized treatment plans that align with their personal goals. Deliver one-on-one physical therapy sessions, adjusting techniques and methodologies based on patient feedback and progress. Expertly implement orthopedic care practices to address a range of musculoskeletal conditions and promote recovery. Utilize innovative, cost-effective treatment options to enhance patient mobility and independence without excessive reliance on surgical interventions or medications. Develop and oversee comprehensive care plans that integrate a variety of therapeutic modalities, including exercise regimens and manual therapies. Encourage and motivate patients at every step of their rehabilitation journey, fostering an environment of trust and support. Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient care and document interventions using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, including WebPT.Participate in team meetings to contribute insights and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare providers, ensuring coordinated patient care. Patient Population / Client FocusIn this role, you will primarily work with adult and geriatric patients who require physical rehabilitation due to orthopedic conditions, post-surgical recovery, chronic pain, or mobility impairments. Your expertise in developing tailored treatment approaches will enable patients to regain their strength, flexibility, and confidence.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. An active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia, with a clean disciplinary record. A strong understanding of manual therapy techniques and their effective application in outpatient settings. Proficiency in creating and implementing customized exercise programs aimed at fostering patient recovery and well-being. Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, for accurate and timely patient documentation. Current knowledge of advanced physical therapy practices and a passion for staying updated with emerging therapies and techniques.

Preferred Experience: Candidates with at least two years of hands-on experience in an outpatient physical therapy environment will be prioritized. Familiarity with home care practices and a proven track record of successful patient outcomes will enhance your application.

Compensation and Benefits: Empire Physical Therapist offers a competitive salary between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, depending on experience.
