Key responsibilities:
Review plans for code compliance with applicable fire and building codes
Create review letters detailing code reviews and required changes
Research and review fire legislation, codes, and ordinances to remain current on updates
Required qualifications:
ICC Fire Plans Examiner certification required
Fire plan review experience strongly preferred
ICC Fire Inspector I and II certifications are a plus
Extensive knowledge of local building codes and construction procedures
Ability to interpret codes and provide compliant solutions in the field
