Post-Doctoral Fellow

Responsibilities: The post-doctoral fellow will be responsible for: Sample processing and gas chromatography/mass spectrometry analyses for ongoing clinical research studies. Working with the analytical team to develop new methodologies for probing metabolic pathways using stable isotopes; Compiling, analyzing, and presenting research data, both written and orally.

Qualifications: • A PhD in chemistry, biochemistry, or related field; • Strong background in mass spectrometry and bench laboratory techniques; • Ability to work both independently with general guidance and as part of a team; • Strong time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills; • Good written and oral communication skills; • General computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft office; Can use language effectively to gather information and facilitate the exchange of ideas; Exhibits respect and understanding of others to maintain professional relationships; Takes responsibility for actions and shows that one is reliable and trustworthy; Ability to work both independently and in a team environment; Strong organizational ability; Strong analytical and problem solving skills; Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
