Alabaster- Reconditioning Detail Technician - Full-Time

Description: Long-Lewis of Alabaster is looking for adetail-orientedandquality-driven Automotive Reconditioning Detail Technician to join our growing team. This position plays a vital role in preparing pre-owned vehicles for resale by performing thorough inspections, reconditioning tasks, and detailing work.

Key Responsibilities: Performcomprehensive vehicle inspectionsto identify mechanical, cosmetic, and safety-related repairs. Carry outreconditioning tasksincluding light mechanical work, minor repairs, and general maintenance as needed. Detail and cleanthe interior and exterior of used vehicles to dealership standards, and to get them prepared for the lot. Document all work performed and ensure proper handling of repair and maintenance logs. Work closely with service advisors, sales staff, and management to ensure timely turnaround of inventory. Maintain aclean, safe, and organized work area, adhering to all company and safety policies. Communicate effectively with team members to report progress, delays, or concerns. Qualifications and Skills Previous experience inautomotive detailingorvehicle reconditioningpreferred. Basic mechanical knowledge or experience withlight vehicle maintenancetasks is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Ability to work independently and within a team in afast-paced environment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent time management.
