Data Cable Installation Technician

Experienced Technician Qualifications: Min 2 yrs. data cabling experience Min 1 yr experience leading & managing crew of 4 or more technicians Strong problem solving skills Ability to read floor plans, equipment layouts, control diagrams, line diagrams, & other architectural, mechanical, & electrical plans Professionalism in high paced stressful situations Exceptional organization & prioritization skills Strong knowledge of industry standards Experience with utilization of both fiber & copper testing equipment Experienced in fiber fusing, copper termination, & complete data cabinet buildout Clear and professional communication skills with management, co-workers, & customersOSHA 30 certificateMEWP certificate Please list any additional certifications &/or licenses Requirements for both Experienced & Inexperienced Technicians: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Reliable transportation with required insurance coverage Must be able to pass all criminal background checks & drug tests Applicants must be authorized to work for any US employer & a legal US citizen Willing to work on-call, day, night, or weekend shifts as the jobs require Ability to work mandatory overtime to meet business needs if required Able to be out of town for up to 2 weeks at a time Typical work week could be approximately 50-60 hrs a week depending on job site requirements & deadlinesA preference for operating in a fast-paced, technical environment with a high degree of critical thinking & problem solving Maintain required certificates an&/or licenses Ability to consistently carry/move/transport 50+ pounds Work from elevated heights of 6-45ft Motivated to work both individually & as a team quickly to complete tasks Fluent english speaking
