Package Delivery Driver

Amazon Flex seeks independent contractors to deliver packages using their own vehicles. As a Package Delivery Driver, you’ll use the Amazon Flex app to select delivery blocks, navigate routes, and complete time-sensitive deliveries to homes and businesses. You’ll scan packages, follow GPS directions, and ensure safe, secure handling of all items. This role offers flexible scheduling, allowing you to choose when you work while earning competitive pay. Pick up and deliver Amazon packages to homes and businesses within assigned delivery blocks Use the Amazon Flex app for route navigation, package scanning, and proof of delivery Load, organize, and secure packages safely in your personal vehicle Follow all traffic laws and Amazon safety guidelines while driving and delivering Meet delivery deadlines and performance standards for on-time, accurate deliveries Communicate issues such as delays, missing packages, or access problems through the app Maintain a reliable, well-maintained vehicle and smartphone with data plan Provide courteous, customer-focused service at each delivery location Route navigation using GPS and mobile apps Package handling and loading Time management and on-time delivery Safe driving and defensive driving practices Use of delivery and scanning applications Basic smartphone and tech troubleshooting Customer service and communication Record-keeping and proof-of-delivery documentation Vehicle upkeep and basic maintenance awareness Local area and traffic pattern familiarity Valid state driver’s license Clean driving record (subject to background checks) Proof of auto insurance Eligible, reliable personal vehicle meeting Amazon Flex requirements
