Nuclear Med Tech Position Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced nuclear med tech for a permanent role with an area healthcare client where you'll work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team and be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment.
Minimum Requirements:
An associate or bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology.
State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine.
BLS certification.
Newly licensed nuclear medicine technologists are acceptable.
Experience with Dose Calibrator, Geiger Counter, Captus well counter and uptake probe.
Experience performing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures.
Experience working with Stress Lab equipment including EKG machines and treadmills.
Ability to obtain and document blood pressures, pulse oximetry, and glucometer readings.
Interpersonal and computer skills required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital diagnostic imaging environment.
Willingness to rotate call and to work collaboratively with stress test nurses.
Shift Details:
Full time. 8- or 10-hour day shifts based on department needs. Typical 10-hour day shift example: M-F, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM.Typical 8-hour day shift examples: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM; 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM; 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.Rotation of diagnostic and therapeutic duties and departmental call schedule.
Role Details:
Work at main hospital campus in Marietta, OH.Operate radiation detection and imaging equipment and prepare/administer radiopharmaceuticals.
Provide age-appropriate care for patients served in diagnostic imaging.
Collaborate directly with stress test nursing staff for cardiac studies.
