CNC Lathe Machine Operator 2nd Shift

Position Summary: We are seeking an experiencedCNC Lathe Machine Operatorfor our client near Decatur, AL. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality machined parts while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. This is a great opportunity to work with a leading automotive manufacturer and build your long-term career. = Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate computer numerical control (CNC) machinesLoad parts, cycle machines, and monitor machine performanceDetect malfunctions such as worn or damaged cutting toolsPerform milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring, sawing, and sandblastingRead and interpret blueprints and follow routersUse calipers and measuring tools to inspect finished partsMaintain quality and safety standards at all timesWork with chemicals, solvents, adhesives, and lubricants as requiredUpdate production records and complete necessary paperworkMaintain a clean and organized work area; perform preventative maintenanceRequirementsExperience operating aMazak Vertical Milling Machine(required) High School Diploma/GED or technical school graduateMinimum 2 years of Lathe machine shop experienceAbility to accurately read a tape measure (assessment required) Ability to read drawings and perform basic math calculationsStrong work ethic and reliable attendanceAbility to lift up to 60 lbs and work occasional overtimeSteel-toe boots requiredMust pass background and drug screeningMust be able to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal) Must be able to pass a Measurement Test Must be able to do their own Set up. = Pay & Benefits (Through CloudRay) Weekly Pay Health Insurance Available Incentives & Performance-Based Bonuses Referral Bonuses Temp-to-Hire Career Growth Opportunity = Location AdvantageConveniently located near Decatur, AL.
