About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Chesapeake, Virginia, 23320!Job TitleRegistered Nurse – Medical Surgical / TelemetryLocationChesapeake, VA | Acute CareSchedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 3x12 or 4x12 shifts available | Every other weekend, floating, and holidays required within the contract periodKey ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care on a high-volume post-surgical unit serving urology and GYN surgical populationsManage a patient assignment in a telemetry-monitored environment with a typical ratio of 1:7Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms including sinus rhythms, heart blocks, lethal rhythms, atrial rhythms, junctional rhythms, and pacingCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support post-surgical recovery and patient safetyDocument all patient care accurately using Epic EMRRequired QualificationsMinimum of two years of recent relevant RN experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry settingActive Virginia RN license or Compact RN license in hand at time of submission — no exceptionsBLS certification through the American Heart Association requiredProficiency in Epic EMR required — no exceptionsMust pass a telemetry/EKG competency test with a score of 80% or higher prior to start (one attempt given; no remediation available) Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; driver's license required for address verificationPreferred Experience / SkillsPrevious travel nursing experience preferredExperience caring for urology and/or GYN surgical patient populationsStrong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills across a broad range of rhythm typesWhy Join UsWork in the coastal Virginia region, offering easy access to beaches, waterways, and outdoor recreationOvertime may be available for clinicians on a 4x12 schedule, providing flexibility to maximize earnings About Concentric Healthcare StaffingFounded and headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Concentric Healthcare Staffing specializes in healthcare employment with an emphasis in nursing and allied health.
