The Desire Company is seeking experienced Painting and Finishing Professionals to participate in paid brand projects with leading home improvement and hardware brands. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your expertise to create impactful content that helps shoppers make confident purchase decisions.
Project Overview:
- Filming Location: Varies by project (travel may be required)
- Time on Set: Approximately 3–5 hours (half-day; subject to change)
- Final Deliverables: 1 Product Recommendation Video per project
Pay: Starting at $1,500
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert insights related to painting, finishing, and surface preparation.
- Participate in a brief pre-production call to align on project goals and expectations.
- Collaborate with our production crew during filming sessions.
- Communicate recommendations clearly and practically for consumers.
- How It Works:
- Once you express interest, we will pitch you to relevant brand and retail partners. If selected, we'll coordinate a pre-production conversation before filming.
- By joining our expert community, you'll be considered on an ongoing basis for future paid projects that match your expertise, availability, and interests.

Additional Details:

Requirements
Qualifications:
3+ years of professional experience in painting, finishing, or related trades.
Strong understanding of paints, coatings, tools, and finishing products within your area of expertise, and the ability to assess and communicate their value to consumers.
Excellent verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to engage and connect with diverse audiences.
Willingness to travel if required.
