Salary: $67,000 - $82,000 + Quarterly Bonus Opportunities
Mulling Insurance Agency is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an insurance professional who enjoys building strong client relationships, providing trusted coverage guidance, and managing commercial accounts while working alongside a collaborative internal support team. Unlike many agency environments, Account Executives are supported by dedicated marketing, claims, and processing teams, allowing more time to focus on clients, coverage strategy, and consultative service.
What You'll Do:
Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned book of commercial insurance clients.
Partner with Producers on larger and more complex commercial accounts.
Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and coverage requests.
Coordinate with internal marketing teams on submissions, quoting, and market access.
Advise clients on commercial property and casualty coverage needs.
Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, producers, and internal departments.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely completion of service requests.
Participate in occasional client meetings and producer visits.
Support team members and contribute to a collaborative service environment.
Required Qualifications:
Active Florida 2-20 General Lines Property & Casualty License.
Minimum three years of commercial insurance experience.
Experience servicing commercial insurance accounts.
Strong understanding of commercial property and casualty coverages.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
Ability to complete initial onsite training in Auburndale, Florida.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working within an independent insurance agency.
Experience with Applied Epic agency management system.
Experience managing complex or middle-market commercial accounts.
CISR, CIC, or other insurance designations.
Bachelor's degree.
Experience serving industries such as construction, nonprofit organizations, churches, charter schools, breweries, or homeowners associations.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary of $67,000 to $82,000 depending on experience + Quarterly Bonus Opportunities
