Telecommunications Specialist

Duties: HelpPerforms project management duties, when applicable, which includes responsibility for ensuring project goals are accomplished. Meets with customers and technical personnel to define user requirements and determine the most efficient means of accomplishing objectives and resolving technical issues. Manages funds, when applicable, and tracks expenditures for the respective equipment, system, or program to ensure adequate resources are available to complete projects or provide service to customers. Conducts evaluations of telecommunications and satellite communications (SATCOM) systems, projects, or programs to determine future expenditures. Serves as a technical authority on enterprise network management, communications and transport systems, Internet Protocol (IP) routing, and cybersecurity criteria and methodologies.
