About the role

Actuarial Intern Role Actuarial intern role in Scottsdale, Arizona, supporting P&C pricing and analytics for an Excess and Surplus Lines insurer. You'll analyze data, update reports, collaborate with business partners, and complete a standalone actuarial project. The role is onsite and requires at least one CAS exam while pursuing a relevant degree.
Requirements
Must have: Successfully completed one (1) Casualty Actuarial Society exam Sponsorship not offered Strongly preferred:
  • Pursuing a degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to apply sound judgment and strong decision-making skills
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, both oral and written
  • Excellent organization skills, able to handle multiple tasks at once
  • Willingness to tackle challenges with a positive attitude
Nice to have: Experience in SQL, R, VBA or PowerBI
Tools: Excel Power_BI
