What You’ll Do: Develop and oversee individualized exercise prescriptions for patients participating in cardiac rehabilitation and related clinical programs. Review patient medical histories and assess health status to determine appropriate exercise testing and treatment plans. Conduct exercise evaluations and monitor patient performance and response to activity. Select and administer appropriate testing protocols based on patient needs and clinical guidelines. Educate patients on exercise techniques, safety measures, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term wellness. Explain testing procedures and rehabilitation plans in a clear, patient-friendly manner. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective patient care. Assist with departmental initiatives, program development, and quality improvement efforts. Contribute to the development and evaluation of clinical tools, protocols, and best practices.
