About the job: Senior Project Engineer - Substation Opportunities may include, but not limited to: Managing overall engineering design efforts for Design-Only and EPC projects to optimize safety, schedule, and profitability. Leading and mentoring a team of multi-discipline professionals to ensure project success. Managing the implementation of the Quality Program for engineering designs. Preparing and managing the final engineering labor-hour budgets. Partnering with a projects controls team to manage the engineering design schedule, budget, and progress measurement function. Preparing, submitting, and managing client change orders. Managing subcontracted product procurement and/or engineering design efforts. Directing and managing field services. Presenting designs and proposals to clients, permitting authorities, public interest groups, etc. Corresponding and/or meeting with clients, contractors, and vendors. Leading project proposal efforts.
