Senior Software Engineer / Payments

We are actively searching for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. In this position you will design and implement systems that process billions of dollars in transactions, working across our payment orchestration layer, merchant APIs, and real-time settlement engine. We have a close-knit team that works onsite 4 days a week with Fridays remote. Your RhythmDevelop end-to-end features from technical design through deployment and iteration Collaborate with Product and Design to translate requirements into elegant technical solutions Design and implement payment processing systems that handle high throughput and strict reliability requirements Build APIs and SDKs Your Vibe 5+ years of professional software engineering experience Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js; experience with React is a plus Deep understanding of REST API design, relational and document databases (especially MongoDB), and distributed systems concepts Experience building systems that handle high transaction volumes Comfortable with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or similar) and containerized deployments
