Java Developer

Overview In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy scalable Java-based applications using Spring Boot and microservices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver RESTful APIs and real-time data solutions on AWS, integrating with Kafka for event-driven architectures. You’ll work across the full software lifecycle, from concept to production, and help elevate performance, security, and reliability. This position offers impact through building resilient systems for complex enterprise domains and requires strong communication across global teams. Responsibilities Design and develop microservices with Spring Boot and related Spring components Build and maintain RESTful APIs and real-time data pipelines with Kafka Deploy and operate services in AWS, ensuring performance, security, and scalability Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the SDLC (concept, design, test, deploy)Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain production systems; implement best practices Work in Agile/Scrum environments and participate in continuous improvement Integrate monitoring and observability tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, and Grafana Key requirements Backend Java development with Spring Boot Microservices architecture experience Kafka experience with AWS exposureRESTful API design and development Spring Framework proficiency Core Java, OOPS, Java 17 upgrade exposure Oracle and advanced SQL experienceCI/CD pipelines with Git/Bitbucket and Maven/Gradle Kubernetes and Docker experience Strong communication and collaboration skills 7+ years of hands-on Java development Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field Retail Banking project exposure preferred Excellent written and verbal communication Cross-functional collaboration Problem-solving mindset Spring Boot and Spring MVCMicroservices and distributed systems Kafka and real-time data streaming
