Sports & Stadium Finance Attorney | Associate, Senior Associate or Counsel Premier National Law Firm | Debt Finance & Capital Markets📍 Locations: New York, NY | Boston, MAThe Opportunity Oculus Legal Search is representing a prestigious national law firm seeking experienced Debt Finance Attorneys to join a sophisticated and growing practice focused on professional sports, stadium development, and complex commercial financing. The practice represents leading financial institutions, institutional investors, and private credit providers in high-value financing transactions involving professional sports franchises, leagues, major entertainment facilities, and corporate borrowers. Prior sports finance experience is not required. Attorneys with strong cash flow lending, leveraged finance, or acquisition finance backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise lenders on financing transactions involving professional sports teams, leagues, stadiums, and arenas.
Structure, negotiate, and document complex cash flow and acquisition financing arrangements.
Work on senior secured loans, mezzanine financing, private credit transactions, and other sophisticated debt structures.
Support financings involving media revenues, commercial assets, and major infrastructure projects.
Manage transaction execution, coordinate closings, and collaborate directly with partners and institutional clients.
Ideal Qualifications:
Significant experience in debt finance, leveraged lending, cash flow financing, or acquisition finance.
Strong transactional drafting, negotiation, and deal-management skills.
Experience representing banks, private credit funds, or institutional lenders preferred.
Background with a national law firm, Am Law firm, or sophisticated boutique practice.
Excellent academic credentials and strong client communication skills.
Familiarity with responsible use of AI-enabled legal technology.
U.S. work authorization without employer sponsorship.
Sports industry experience is a plus, but not required.
