At Holding Hands, our Developmental Interventionists use relationship-based approaches to help individuals grow socially, emotionally, and developmentally. As a Developmental Interventionist, you will deliver individualized care using the DIR®/Floortime™ model across home, school, clinic, and community settings while working

What You’ll Do:
Key Responsibilities as a Developmental Interventionist: Provide 1:1 DIR®/Floortime™ intervention
Facilitate social, emotional, and developmental growth through play-based interactions
Implement individualized, relationship-based activities tailored to each client
Support communication, emotional regulation, and social connection
Encourage independence, self-expression, and choice-making
Build strong relationships with clients and families
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
Maintain a nurturing, flexible, and supportive environment
What We’re Looking ForDevelopmental Interventionist Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required (in a related field)
Passion for working with children and supporting developmental growth
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable transportation required
1 year of experience in a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with DIR®/Floortime™, ABA, or early childhood development
Master’s degree in a related field
Experience working with children with autism or developmental differences
