Job Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Technician specializing in Construction & Remodeling, you will: Renovation & Remodeling – Perform demolition and renovate vacant apartments, homes, and other spaces throughout Cedar Community. Carpentry & Construction – Complete framing, carpentry, drywall, painting, trim work, and other general construction projects. Installation & Repairs – Install and replace windows, doors, cabinets, fixtures, appliances, hardware, and other finishes. General Repairs – Complete basic plumbing repairs and other maintenance needs related to renovation projects. Safety & Quality – Follow safety procedures while delivering quality craftsmanship and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
Qualifications
Skilled Trades Experience:
2–4 years of experience in construction, remodeling, carpentry, or a related skilled trade preferred. Construction Knowledge – Working knowledge of carpentry, framing, drywall, painting, and general construction.
Installation Skills:
Experience installing windows, doors, cabinets, fixtures, appliances, trim, and hardware preferred. Basic Plumbing – Ability to complete basic plumbing repairs. Tools & Equipment – Comfortable safely using common construction tools and equipment.
