Overview: Arcadia, formerly Helping Hands Home Care Service, is hiring Home Care Aides in your area! This rewarding, entry-level opportunity provides consistent, flexible full-time/part-time hours to accommodate your personal needs, while providing a great career with a growing, innovative industry leader. Home Care Aides do not require prior experience or certifications, only the willingness and ability to help others in their daily lives with the help of a written care plan. Arcadia offers a variety of training to our Home Care Aides via in-person, phone, or video. The different training methods allow us to provide our caregivers with the most meaningful and beneficial training possible.

Responsibilities:
  • Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
  • Home support (light housekeeping, vacuuming, dusting, washing dishes)
  • Light meal prep and serving meals
  • Accompanying the consumer to appointments when approved
  • Grocery shopping, or other errands when approved
  • Providing companionship and stimulation for the consumer (reading, walks)
Qualifications:
  • Must complete the agency's employment process
  • Criminal background check
  • Reliable transportation
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and well-organized
  • Must exhibit maturity, responsible behavior, & maintain consumer confidentiality
  • Must be able to follow directions and work as a team3 references (2 professional, 1 personal)
