Nutraceutical Production Manager

Role Description: The Nutraceutical Production Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in New Brunswick, NJ. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day manufacturing operations for nutraceutical products, including planning production schedules, managing staff assignments, and monitoring line performance. The person in this position will ensure adherence to GMP, quality, and safety standards, coordinate with quality assurance and supply chain teams, and resolve operational issues to maintain product integrity and efficiency. Typical responsibilities include supervising equipment setup and maintenance, tracking inventory and material usage, optimizing workflows, and preparing production reports and documentation. The Nutraceutical Production Manager will also help implement process improvements, support audits and inspections, and train team members on standard operating procedures and best practices.

Qualifications: Experience managing production operations in nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, food, or related regulated manufacturing environments Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality systems, and applicable regulatory guidelines for nutraceutical production Strong skills in scheduling, workflow optimization, resource planning, and production reporting Ability to lead, coach, and develop diverse production teams, with strong communication and collaboration skills Proficiency in using manufacturing systems or ERP tools, and comfort with data analysis for decision-making Demonstrated focus on safety, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, chemistry, engineering, life sciences, or a related discipline (or equivalent relevant experience)Ability to work on-site in New Brunswick, NJ, including occasional extended hours during peak production periods Prior experience in nutraceutical or dietary supplement manufacturing is highly beneficial
