Controller

Our client is a rapidly growing, well capitalized, middle market manufacturer located in the New Haven area. The company serves a diverse base of customers across multiple markets and has established a strong reputation for quality, innovation and customer service. The Controller will go beyond the traditional scope of accounting, and be involved operationally to help the business make actionable financial decisions. Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual close and financial reporting processes, ensuring statements are accurate, timely and prepared in accordance with GAAP.Oversee accounts receivable, deductions and accounts payable, maintaining strong financial controls while improving cash flow and process efficiency. Evaluate financial results against budget and forecast, identifying key variances and developing updated projections to support business planning. Assess profitability, working capital and broader business performance to uncover trends, risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to leadership.
