Join us and do work that truly matters.Responsibilities:Manage a diverse portfolio of contracts across various types, complexities, and sizes — monitoring invoices and budgets to keep projects on track and costs in checkServe as the go-to contractual expert for Project Managers, providing clear guidance on requirements and helping teams navigate challenges with confidenceLead contract start-up and closeout processes, ensuring smooth transitions at every stage of the contract lifecycleContribute to competitive proposal efforts by assisting with cost proposals and narratives that position Peraton to winBuild and maintain strong customer relationships — acting as a collaborative team leader who resolves issues quickly and streamlines processesAnalyze, draft, and negotiate a wide range of agreements including Teaming Agreements, NDAs, MOUs, MOAs, and other binding instrumentsPartner closely with internal program teams to tackle highly complex challenges and deliver creative, effective solutionsChampion sound business principles that support departmental and divisional goals#MDFSPQualificationsRequired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field plus 8+ years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with 6+ years of experience; or 12+ years of experience in lieu of a degreeHands-on experience managing Government contracts and subcontracts under FAR, DFARS, and applicable agency supplementsDemonstrated experience responding to RFPs, participating in proposal and pre-award review meetings, conducting negotiations, and drafting/finalizing contractsProficiency in preparing, maintaining, and communicating contract records, reports, and documentation in compliance with corporate and contract management requirementsExperience executing contract closeout — including finalizing outstanding issues, issuing final modifications and invoices, and coordinating contractor performance evaluationsComfortable interfacing with all levels of internal and external management and organizational stakeholdersActive TS/SCI clearance with Poly requiredUS Citizenship requiredPreferred Qualifications: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) toolSelf-starter mentality with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independentlyDeep knowledge of contract types, terms, and conditionsAbility to interpret and implement policies and procedures with minimal directionExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPeraton OverviewPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy.As the world's leading mission capability integrator and transformative enterprise IT provider, we deliver trusted, highly differentiated solutions and technologies to protect our nation and allies. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
