Job Description: Job Description Engineer/Technician Solid Works Manufacturing Engineer/Technician to join our team. This is not a Designing position you must have experience in manufacturing preferably with sheet metal This is not an entry-level position. We are seeking a candidate with solid, hands-on engineering experience in a manufacturing environment who can contribute immediately and work independently with minimal supervision. Only Candidates that meet all qualifications will be contacted. This full-time position (40 hours per week) follows a standard schedule of 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Required Qualifications: (Minimum)Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or work experience that exceeds 5 years. Minimum of Three years of working engineering experience in a manufacturing or production environment Demonstrated proficiency in Solid Works (AutoCAD experience considered if willing to advance in Solid Works quickly)Must be Experienced with importing DXF files Strong geometric and spatial reasoning skills with the ability to create and interpret detailed engineering drawings Practical knowledge of manufacturing processes including production flow, layout, assembly, and manufacturing equipment Advanced Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel) for analysis and reporting Must Have a Broad exposure to sheet metal fabrication technologies and related manufacturing techniques Quality-driven mindset with strong attention to detail Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Essential Responsibilities: Convert engineering concepts into detailed solid models using Solid Works Create part and assembly drawings and documentation for existing and new products Ensure all design models, drawings, and bills of materials meet customer and company requirements Monitor progress of First Articles Contribute to product planning within area of expertise Support Sales, Manufacturing, and Customers as needed Communicate effectively with management in a timely manner Ensure quality policies and procedures are followed Perform other duties as assigned
