RN: Ortho/Neuro, Full Time Days*Sign on Bonus Available up to $10,000*Acute Care, Hospital experience highly preferred Piedmont Eastside- Snellville, GAJoint & Spine/ Neuroscience Unit Profile (Med Surg 3) We are a 17-bed hybrid unit, specializing in acute CVA's and TIA's, along with post-operative care of knee, hip, and spinal surgery patients. In addition, we handle all types of medical/ surgical patients. Standards of practice and advantages: Bedside report handoff at change of shift Purposeful Rounding for safety and service Quality initiatives such as pain assessment and reassessment, pressure ulcer prevention, infection prevention strategies for central lines and indwelling urinary catheters, etc. Unit educator to help address competency, onboarding, and learning needs Charge nurse out of staffing or with limited patient load to facilitate daily operationsEPIC electronic health record Virtual Nurses to help with admissions and discharges Nurse Extern program Residency programCAP (Career Advancement Program)

Responsibilities: The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Qualifications: Education Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing Required Bachelor's Degree Preferred Work Experience No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible Required Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions Preferred Licenses and Certifications RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/e NCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/e NLC Multistate License. Required andBCLS - Basic Life Support Required Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
